SC directs a landmark judgement on EC elections
Supreme Court directed a landmark judgement for the election of Chief Election Commissner (CEC) and Election Commissners. The judgement said the CEC and commissioners will be appointed by the President of India, advised by the panel consisting of the Prime Minister of India, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, and Chief Justice of India.
