Hathras case: life term for main accused; three others acquitted
The main accused in 2020 Hathras Gangrape case was sentenced to life imprisonment by an SC/ST court. Three other accused were acquitted for lack of evidence. Rape and murder charges couldn't be proved against the prime accused, Manish Sisodia. The family of the 19-year-old victim will challenge the verdict in higher court.
