Nobel Laureate Bialiatski sentenced to 10 years by Belarus Court
Ales Bialiatski was given 10 years imprisonment by a Belarus court along with three others from Viasna human rights centre on Friday. The court convicted Bialiatski on charges of financing activities related to smuggling, public order, violation, etc. Bialiatski won the Nobel Prize for peace in 2022.
