Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena faction said on March 6 that they need to stand against BJP's corruption washing machine to save the nation. The corruption washing machine term is often used by the Shiv Sena to criticize BJP's tactics of welcoming corrupt politicians into the party and offering them protection.

Shiv Sena also said that BJP's regime of curbing the opposition and authoritarianism isn't good for democracy.
