NASA hands over NISAR satellite to ISRO

NASA, the US space agency, handed over the NASA-ISRO SAR (NISAR) satellite to ISRO. NISAR is a low Earth orbit observatory jointly developed by NASA and ISRO. The satellite will take 12 days to circle the earth and provide data for understanding Earth's ecosystems. It is being touted as a true symbol of US-India civil space collaboration.
